Cotton was hit by a car in Cottonport and left for dead on the side of the road. The Cottonport Police picked him up and put him in a garbage bag because they thought he was dead. When they realized he was still alive, they got him out of the bag, and brought him to the animal shelter.
Cotton was brought to the vet where he was diagnosed with three
cracked ribs and a broken pelvis.
Cotton is resting at the shelter now, after his very harrowing experience. After several months in the caring hands of the AAWS volunteers, Cotton has made a remarkable recovery. He is a very happy dog and can run and play normally now. His journey has now taken him to Woodland Hills, Texas, where he has found his forever home!
